![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It works fine in my Windows XP installation.I first tried downloading the drivers from the Creative support site, there were only 2 drivers listed there, and so I tried them both, one was "Sound Blaster (Live! Series) Drivers Update (5.42 MB)" however, apparently it requires previous drivers to be installed on the system, naturally since it's an update.I tried installing the second driver they had listed "Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Standalone Web Release for Windows 95/98/98se/ME only (19.02 MB)" this didn't fare much better, It starts out like it's going to install, but it spits out an error saying that it requires a Soundblaster Live! to be installed on the system and that it could not detect one and will now exit. So, I decided to dig around to see if I couldn't find the original driver CD. I just installed Windows 98 on a secondary hard drive, and everything's been going smoothly except for this one thing: For some reason, Windows 98se refuses to recognize my Soundblaster Live! 5.1 card. ![]()
